Corporate finance and forensic accounting

We have a particular specialism in corporate finance and forensic accounting services. The team is led by our Chairman who has many years experience in all forms of corporate finance activity. Other members of the team include a former head of taxation at a Group A firm of accountants who has a wide range of experience of the tax aspects of corporate finance activity.  Over the years we have provided advice and support for all types of corporate finance activity – acquisitions, sales, management buy-outs, management buy-ins, group reconstructions and reorganisations etc. Values involved in recent deals we have undertaken have varied between £5m and £40m.

We have a specialism also in forensic accounting services for tax investigation work which is particularly relevant today as a result of the current H M Revenue and Customs amnesties regarding offshore funds. We have recently completed several successful negotiations under these schemes on behalf of tax payers. Funds involved in these cases have totalled in the region of £20m.

We offer accounting services for all sizes of business, specialising in the preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies.

We undertake audits whenever required for all types of entity. Our audit clients range in size from those with one location and a turnover of about £3m to multi location businesses with turnovers from £30m to £300m.

Our corporate and personal tax services include the routine compliance requirements but in addition we pride ourselves on offering all types of tax advice, tailored to your present needs and your plans for the future.

We have a number of trust and charity clients, including private schools, to which we offer accounting, audit, tax and other services.
